In Almaty, with the aim of developing active tourism, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and establishing modern year-round tourism infrastructure, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Kazakh Tourism Development Ltd. and renowned Kazakh athlete Saken Kagarov, aimed at promoting the Almaty Superski project.
Under the signed document, Saken Kagarov will serve as an official ambassador of the project and will also provide expert support in the development of active tourism infrastructure. One of the key areas of cooperation will be his participation in the creation of modern cycling infrastructure for the resort, including the development of routes for both sport and family-oriented use.
Saken Kagarov will take part in developing the concept for the cycling component of the project, providing expert support for trail construction, route planning, and the promotion of a safe riding culture. Particular attention will be given to categorizing routes by difficulty level, which will help create comfortable conditions both for beginner cycling enthusiasts and professional athletes.

The parties also agreed to cooperate in the informational and image-building support of the project. Saken Kagarov will take part in public events, presentations, and sector-specific discussions, and will also support the promotion of an active lifestyle, sustainable tourism, and modern forms of active recreation.

When high-quality trails emerge, they bring with them mass participation in sport, a riding culture, new tourists, and competitions. I am confident that the Almaty Superski project will open a new chapter in the development of active tourism in Kazakhstan," noted Saken Kagarov.
For its part, Kazakh Tourism Development Ltd. will provide organizational and informational support to the ambassador to ensure the effective implementation of joint initiatives.
