About project

The primary objective of the project is to promote year-round tourism in Almaty and its surroundings, to create a sustainable and safe tourist ecosystem that meets international standards, while considering the region's natural and cultural specifics.

It is well-known fact that the country's economy needs to diversify and move away from its dependence on oil. The development of mountain tourism is intended to stimulate the economy, improve the quality of life of Almaty residents, create new work places, and raise awareness of Kazakhstan's natural and cultural heritage among local and foreign tourists.
